Pre-booking Staging

Generally available
Driver-self-service staging window before a pre-booked trip enters auto-dispatch. Pre-bookings represent known future demand — instead of dumping them into ALLOCATION right at the release date and competing with ASAP trips for supply, the staging window lets drivers proactively reserve eligible pre-bookings via the driver app. Surfaces hours / days of advance knowledge to operators + drivers rather than minutes of last-minute scrambling.

How operators configure this feature.
Pre-booked work often sits unassigned until release, then scrambles for a driver at the worst possible moment. Pre-booking Staging lets drivers claim upcoming trips ahead of time — held to confirm and online checks so a staged trip only counts if the driver is genuinely ready — so fewer pre-bookings fall through at release.
On / off · default false
Send a booked trip out too early and you tie up a driver; too late and you can't find one. This controls how early booked work is released, with head starts for hard-to-find vehicles and for times when few drivers are free — so booked trips get covered without going out before they need to.
